Iisalmi’s newest racket sports centre opens its doors after a complete refurbishment

IISALMI: There is a whole new buzz at the former Padel Club Iisalmi premises. Under new owners Seppo Rytkönen and Marko Husso, the hall has become a versatile racket sports centre where players can develop their skills across several sports. The hall previously housed five padel courts, but the space has now been adapted and diversified – mailamestari.fi still offers three padel courts, alongside three badminton courts, three pickleball courts, a table tennis table and a modern golf simulator.

“Our aim is to create a community sports venue where everyone can find their sport – whether an old favourite or something entirely new,” say entrepreneurs Rytkönen and Husso.

Refurbished from the courts to the smallest details

A great deal of work has gone into the refurbishment, with old padel court structures dismantled, floors levelled and surfaces replaced. Modern LED lights provide bright, even lighting. Details such as the premium Mondo STX SuperCourt surface on the padel courts bring Mailamestari’s facilities up to the highest standard.
